Town Of Jellybean

The Town of Jellybean is the beloved home to a society of kids, beans, critters, and crawlers alike. It’s a mystical place far away and nearby, even in augmented reality space. Clouds dance above, kids and jellybeans hack and tinker below.

The town is made up of a group of islands that together form the shape of a bean. Each island is a borough named after each subject of STEAMIE.

Kid-Made Gadgets

A notification is delivered to an ordinary looking smartwatch. Time is noted. With a tap, the gizmo opens a portal to the alternate dimension of The Town of Jellybean—The Software Architecture.

Only a few of the town's kids own this extraordinary smartwatch for battle with cyber creatures, programming bugs, and nasty viruses. They are known as the Jelly Powers.

Jelly Powers

Jelly Powers protect the Town of Jellybean against the Sour Powers. When they are faced with danger, the Jelly Powers quick draw from the hip high-tech, kid-made gadgets like special smartchwatches.

Meet the STEAMIE Creatures

The Town of Jellybean has a rich diversity of species that are collectively called STEAMIE Creatures. These include Jellybeans or Jellies (for short), Monster Colors, and various Sour Powers.

Jellies and Monster Colors are the kids' forever friends

Jellies

The Jellies are the mentors to the Jelly Powers. Each Jelly has their name written across their belly that represent their unique inherent trait. Their essence is determined by the type of Effort Tree they were born in. The original founders of the Town of Jellybean were Jellies.

Queen Jelly Bee is the renowned leader of the Town of Jellybean. This Jelly is also a venture capital (VC) founder of the Jelly Powers, investing in the kids and funding their operation and missions. (Conceptualization Stage)

Monster

Colors

Monster Colors lift the mood of people and places. They are friendly and mighty. These colorful critters smile in their own way. Their smiles are simply different. Monster Colors' powers are splash, splat, stain, color bomb, and canon ball.

Monster Colors belong to the species of color crawlers that dwell in the Art Borough. There are five different kinds of color crawlers: primary, secondary, neutral, cool, and warm.

Sir Ignoramus is the Jelly Powers’ greatest foe. He is the head of the Sour Powers. Together, they incite mischief and misdeeds. Sir Ignoramus directs his efforts to ultimately overthrow Queen Jelly Bee and destroy the will of the STEAMIE Creatures. (Conceptualization Stage)

Sour Powers

Sour Powers are straight out enemies that fight against the Jelly Powers. They have sour attitudes and tart mindsets who are led by the menacing Sir Ignoramous.
